The Best Series B SaaS Marketing Agencies for Scaling Pipeline

SaaS Hackers is run by Team 4, a B2B SaaS marketing agency ranked on this list.

For a Series B SaaS company that needs to scale inbound and paid, the marketing agencies to shortlist are Team 4, Refine Labs and SimpleTiger, with Team 4 first on this list. Each of these Series B SaaS marketing agencies is in the SaaS Hackers directory, and its own website shows Series B work: a stated focus on Series B, a range of rounds that covers it, a client at that stage, or wording about venture-backed companies.

Team 4 runs SaaS Hackers and is listed first. The other eleven follow in order of their SaaS Hackers review, and each review quotes what the agency's website says about funding stage and how direct that evidence is. Some are paid media specialists, some run SEO and content, and a few do both.

Related lists: Series A marketing agencies, Series C and growth-stage agencies and agencies for scale-ups.

TLDR: The best agencies at a glance

Team 4 is best for Series B SaaS that wants search, AI visibility and paid run as one programme, Refine Labs for Series B teams moving off MQL targets, and SimpleTiger for SaaS that wants SEO, paid and Webflow from one SaaS-only agency.

  1. #14.8 / 5

Best for: Series B SaaS scaling inbound and paid as one

  2. #25.0 / 5

Best for: Series B teams moving from MQLs to pipeline targets

  3. #34.8 / 5

Best for: Series B SaaS wanting SEO, paid and Webflow together

How to choose - quick tips:

A Series B brings bigger targets and a board that wants to see what marketing adds to pipeline. Six questions to ask an agency on the first call:

Which companies at Series B, or a similar size, have you worked with, and what did the first six months look like?

How will you report on pipeline and revenue, and will your figures match what our CRM and finance team see?

Which channels would you scale first with our budget, and which would you hold back until tracking is in place?

How do inbound and paid work together in your plan, and who decides where extra budget goes?

What will our in-house marketers own, and what will your team own?

Who on your side does the work each week, and how senior are they?

Making the right choice:

What to hire an agency for after a Series B depends on what your team already has in place.

If you have one or two marketers and no system yet: look for an agency that can plan and run search, content and paid together, and report on pipeline from the first month.

If paid is already working but costs are rising: look for a paid specialist that optimises against revenue in your CRM, not cost per lead, and builds its own landing pages and creative.

If inbound is your gap: look for an SEO and content agency that targets buyers close to a decision and forecasts what the work should produce before it starts.

How we handpicked this list

This list includes agencies in the SaaS Hackers directory whose own website shows work with Series B companies: a stated focus on Series B, a range of rounds that includes it, a named client at Series B, or general wording about venture-backed companies. We read each quote on the agency's site, and each review says which kind of evidence it is. Team 4 runs SaaS Hackers and is listed first, and its experience comes from its own statement, as its clients are confidential. The other agencies are ordered by their overall SaaS Hackers score from our standard review.

Team 4 is a London agency that works with B2B SaaS companies and runs SEO, GEO (visibility in AI search), content, analytics and paid media as one programme, which it calls the Inbound Engine®. Its website calls it “The B2B SaaS Marketing Agency from seed to £20m+ ARR”. For a Series B company, that means inbound and paid planned by the same team, with paid used to capture demand that organic search has not yet reached.

Team 4 says it has worked with SaaS companies at every funding stage, from seed to Series C and later. Those clients are confidential, so there is no named Series B case study to read. Instead, its profile sets out how it works: Team 4 maps the full acquisition set-up before it executes anything, starting at the bottom of the funnel, and works out what is driving conversions before paid spend is scaled. Its website lists European Search Awards finalist places in 2025 and 2026.

Team 4 suits Series B SaaS companies with a clear ICP, often in a specialist vertical, that want to grow pipeline without paid channels carrying all of it. Senior strategists do the work, with no account managers in between. It suits less a company that wants high-volume content with no strategy behind it, or one that only needs a paid media manager.

Key Strengths

  • Says it has worked from seed to Series C
  • Inbound and paid planned by one team
  • Audits attribution before scaling spend

View profile: Refine LabsHow we score

Refine Labs is an Austin demand generation agency for mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS. It helps companies change how marketing is measured and run, moving from lead-based reporting to revenue accountability, and its website lists demand generation, marketing operations and creative services. Founded in 2019, it builds demand through brand, content and organic social, then converts the buyers who come looking.

Its website is direct about stage: “We work with B2B tech companies at Series B and beyond.” A page about its events says the same of B2B SaaS companies. The clients it names include Clari, Firstup, myCOI and dotCMS. Our review notes its “Revenue R&D for B2B SaaS” positioning, its quantified client impact and a transparent team and methodology.

Refine Labs suits Series B companies whose pipeline targets have outgrown MQL reporting, with a marketing leader who has the mandate to change what the team measures and where budget goes. It suits less a team that only needs paid campaigns managed, or a board that still wants MQL targets.

Key Strengths

  • Website names Series B and beyond
  • Moves reporting from MQLs to revenue
  • Demand creation through brand and content

View profile: Simple TigerHow we score

SimpleTiger is a Sarasota agency that works only with B2B SaaS. Its services cover SEO and AEO, content, paid search and social, link building, GEO (AI search) and Webflow sites, so a Series B company can run organic and paid search with one team that knows how software is bought.

Its website gives a range rather than naming Series B: “We've helped SaaS startups go from seed funding to IPO with our SEO & PPC services.” Another page talks of clients “from seed funding to publicly traded unicorns”, and we read that range as covering Series B. Clients named on its site include Gainsight, Firecrawl, Jotform, Invoca and Segment. Its Gelato case study reports a 1200% rise in first-page keyword rankings in 12 months and a 3:1 ROI in year one, and the agency has worked only with B2B SaaS for more than 15 years.

SimpleTiger suits Series B SaaS companies that want search, AI search and paid run together on a Webflow site built for search. Because its stage wording spans every round, a company that wants a Series B example should ask for one before signing.

Key Strengths

  • SaaS-only for more than 15 years
  • Says it has helped from seed funding to IPO
  • SEO, paid and Webflow under one roof

Gripped is a London agency, founded in 2017, that works only with SaaS, AI and tech companies. It runs paid media, SEO, content, GEO and ABM as one demand programme, and as a HubSpot Diamond Partner it also sets up the CRM and automation underneath.

Its FAQ page says: “We work primarily with Series A and B companies who need to scale their pipeline.” Our review found case studies reporting “£2.1m pipeline from demand gen” and a pricing page with packages. Clients named on its website include Ideagen, Epicor, Ravelin and Crownpeak. Our earlier reviews place its usual clients between £2M and £50M ARR, and its focus on revenue attribution answers the pipeline questions investors start asking at this stage.

Gripped suits UK and European Series B companies that want inbound, paid and HubSpot run together, with marketing and sales reporting from the same data. It suits less a company that already has a mature HubSpot set-up and only needs a specialist for one channel.

Key Strengths

  • Says it works mainly with Series A and B
  • HubSpot Diamond Partner
  • Paid, SEO, GEO and ABM in one programme

Rock The Rankings is a Chicago SEO and content agency, running since 2018, that works with B2B SaaS and tech companies. It goes after bottom-of-funnel searches that turn into demos and trials, and its website lists AI search optimisation (GEO), programmatic SEO, attribution tracking and pipeline reporting.

Its stage page describes the Series A to B buyer in plain terms: “You have content but no system behind it, a first marketing hire underwater, and a board asking about CAC payback.” For that stage it offers a full programme, with a forecast set before kickoff and graded against it monthly. Our review notes case studies with SaaS MRR and traffic growth figures, and a clear team page but no published pricing.

Rock The Rankings suits Series B companies whose inbound has stalled and whose board wants search tied to CAC payback. It suits less a team that mainly needs paid media, as search and content are its whole offer.

Key Strengths

  • Stage page written for Series A to B
  • Forecast set before work starts
  • Bottom-of-funnel SEO and GEO

SaaS Hero is a Denver agency that runs paid search and social, landing pages, conversion rate optimisation and ad creative for SaaS companies, with conversion tracking and attribution reporting built in. Its tagline calls it “The client-friendly SaaS marketing agency that proves pipeline”.

Its website has a page about Series B SaaS. It says SaaS Hero optimises paid media against CRM revenue data, runs the chain from ad to landing page to CRM reporting as one team, and charges a flat retainer indexed to total monthly ad spend, and that these choices make it “the strongest fit for Series B SaaS companies”. That is the agency's own claim. Our review notes its published pricing, CRM-level reporting and the pipeline and cost-efficiency wins it claims on its service and case pages.

SaaS Hero suits Series B companies where paid is the main growth channel and the board wants spend judged on revenue in the CRM. It suits less a company that wants SEO and content to lead, as its website centres on paid media and conversion work.

Key Strengths

  • Website page aimed at Series B SaaS
  • Paid optimised against CRM revenue
  • Flat retainer tied to ad spend

Hey Digital is a Tallinn agency, founded in 2018, that works only with B2B SaaS on paid media. It plans and runs paid search and paid social, builds landing pages, and produces ad creative and video ads, aiming for trials, demos and pipeline rather than clicks.

Its growth marketing page says every account has a senior B2B SaaS strategist “with hands-on experience scaling paid programs from Series A through Series C”, a range that takes in Series B. Clients named on its website include PostHog, Rosie, Toggl, SocialBee, Hotjar and WriteSonic, and its case studies cover PostHog, Toggl, WriteSonic and StealthGPT. Our review notes quantified SaaS case studies and a clear process, with no published pricing.

Hey Digital suits Series B companies that need paid search and social scaled with creative made in-house, and that want frequent updates on what each test showed. It suits less a company whose main gap is SEO or content.

Key Strengths

  • Says it has scaled paid from Series A to C
  • Senior SaaS strategist on every account
  • Ad creative and video made in-house

Skale is a London SEO agency for B2B SaaS and tech brands. It builds organic channels through SEO strategy, content, technical fixes, link building and site migrations, and its website now lists AI search optimisation too. The team often works alongside in-house marketers and reports on trials, MRR and CAC payback rather than traffic.

Skale's Series B evidence is one client, not a stated focus. Its case study page describes Attest as “a series B consumer research platform that has raised more than $95m in investment funding”, and Slite as a Series A collaboration software platform. Other named clients include Piktochart, Perkbox, Moonpay, Maze and Holded. Case study titles include “Maze boost monthly organic signups by 283% in six months” and “Helping Happy Scribe grow from 2,700 to 70,000 monthly signups”.

Skale suits Series B companies, especially product-led ones that sell through sign-ups and trials, that want organic search to carry more of the pipeline. Its website shows one Series B client, so ask for more examples at your stage.

Key Strengths

  • Series B client on its site: Attest
  • Reports on trials, MRR and CAC payback
  • Works alongside in-house marketers

Foundation Labs is the research and content arm of Foundation, the Halifax agency founded in 2014 by Ross Simmonds. It builds category authority with research-led content, then spreads each piece across search, social, Reddit, YouTube and AI answers. Its website now describes Foundation as an AI visibility and GEO marketing agency.

Foundation Labs qualifies for this list through general venture-backed wording, not a named round. Its work page describes “A VC-backed healthcare startup” that hired Foundation to build a content marketing strategy for reaching decision-makers, and its site does not mention Series B. Case study titles include “How We Helped Bitly Become a Top-Cited Brand in AI Search” and “How Foundation Helped a SaaS Company Increase Sign Ups by 128%”, and our review notes a reported 300%+ rise in social engagement.

Foundation Labs suits Series B companies that want original research to make them the name cited in their category, in search results and AI answers. It suits less a team that needs paid media or pipeline this quarter, and buyers should ask for examples from Series B SaaS companies.

Key Strengths

  • Research-led content built to be cited
  • Content spread across search and social
  • VC-backed client work on its site

NoGood is a New York growth marketing agency that works with SaaS brands on paid media, content, SEO, AEO, lifecycle marketing and conversion work. Its approach is test and learn: quick iteration, creative sprints and a bigger share of budget for whatever performs.

NoGood qualifies for this list through general venture-backed wording, not a named round. Its New York page says it works with established brands and “fast-growing VC-backed startups”, and does not mention Series B. Clients named on its website include MongoDB, Intuit, Inflection AI, Oura, Chime and TikTok. Our review notes public case studies with quantified results on acquisition cost and return, and its awards include The Shorty Awards and The Webby Awards.

NoGood suits Series B companies in competitive markets that want several channels tested against each other and budget moved quickly to what works. It suits less a company that wants one channel run in depth, or that needs proof of Series B SaaS work before signing.

Key Strengths

  • Test-and-learn across paid, content and SEO
  • Says it works with VC-backed startups
  • Named clients include MongoDB and Intuit

Omni Lab is an Austin paid media agency for B2B SaaS. It runs campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Meta and YouTube, splits spend between brand development and direct response, and uses offline CRM conversion tracking so each channel is judged on pipeline rather than cost per lead.

Its FAQ says it works with Series A to D or PE-backed B2B SaaS brands spending between $10K and $1M a month on paid media, with product-market fit and at least one in-house marketer to help with internal alignment. That range includes Series B. Case study titles include “How Omni Lab helped ShareGate grow SQLs 44% year over year” and “How Omni Lab helped Thoropass double paid SQLs in one quarter”, and its website also names Billd and Miter.

Omni Lab suits Series B companies with a paid budget in that range and a marketer in-house who can own strategy. It is not a CRM or RevOps partner, and a company whose main gap is organic search would need another agency for that work.

Key Strengths

  • Works with Series A to D SaaS, per its FAQ
  • Offline CRM conversion tracking
  • Brand and direct response planned apart

Grow & Convert is a San Francisco content agency, founded in 2016, that builds inbound for B2B SaaS through bottom-of-funnel content: comparison, alternative and use-case pages that buyers read when they are close to choosing. Its website lists content, SEO, AI search, link building and paid search.

Grow & Convert qualifies for this list through general venture-backed wording, not a named round. Its FAQ describes its clients as “Venture backed B2B businesses looking to lower CAC and grow inbound lead generation”, and one case study is titled “How We Developed a Content Strategy for a Venture-Backed Platform”. Neither mentions Series B. Clients named on its site include Wrike, Service Titan, Leadfeeder and Crazy Egg, and our review notes reported results of “+1,745 free-trials” and “+232k organic sessions”.

Grow & Convert suits Series B companies that want inbound to bring down acquisition cost and that sell something buyers search for by name or problem. It suits less a company that needs paid media scaled fast, as content is its main service.

Key Strengths

  • Content aimed at buyers close to a decision
  • FAQ names venture-backed B2B clients
  • Results reported as trials and sessions

FAQs

Some common questions, answered.

We just raised our Series B. Which agencies can help us scale inbound and paid?

Start with agencies whose own websites name Series B work. Refine Labs says it works with B2B tech companies at Series B and beyond, Gripped says it works mainly with Series A and B companies, and SaaS Hero has a page on why it fits Series B SaaS. Team 4 says it has worked with SaaS companies at every funding stage. Choose by your gap: inbound, paid, or both run together.

Should a Series B SaaS company hire an agency or build an in-house marketing team?

Most Series B companies do both. The in-house team owns positioning, the product story and the numbers, while an agency adds specialist skills faster than hiring can. An agency makes most sense for channels you need now but can't yet staff, such as SEO, paid social or marketing operations. Keep the work you will want to own for years, such as brand and customer marketing, inside the business.

How much of a Series B should go on marketing?

There is no single right share. It depends on your growth targets, the length of your sales cycle, how much pipeline marketing is expected to source, what your current channels return and how much runway the board wants you to keep. Work back from the pipeline target: what you need to create, what each channel has produced so far, and what it would cost to get more from it.

What should a Series B SaaS company hire a marketing agency for?

Hire an agency for the channels that need to grow faster than your team can. After a Series B that is often paid search and social at a bigger budget, SEO and content that builds over time, visibility in AI search, and the attribution that ties it all to revenue. Agencies are less useful for owning positioning or product launches, which need people inside the business.

Is inbound or paid better for scaling pipeline after a Series B?

Usually both, in a planned order. Paid brings pipeline sooner and lets you test messages quickly, but costs tend to rise as you push spend. Inbound through SEO, content and AI search takes months to build and keeps paying back after the work is done. Many Series B teams fund paid for this year's targets while building inbound to lower acquisition costs later.

How do I know if a marketing agency really works with Series B companies?

Ask for the evidence behind the stage label. Look for wording on the agency's own site that names Series B, ask for clients who were at that stage when the work started, and ask what changed in their pipeline. On this list, each review says whether the agency names Series B, gives a range that covers it, has one client at that stage, or only mentions venture-backed companies.
